Upstairs with Erik

His room is unchanged, there's a fire, two comfortable chairs, a chess set, dark woods, a bottle of Scotch and the coziness that reminds Charles of New York.

Inside he steps in to lean against a back of a chair, he's always aware of the space between his body and Erik's and even though they have now been closer than before, he knows that it might not last.

He reaches up to adjust the cravat and looks over to Erik.

"I wouldn't mind that. My own clothes are much simpler,"

When everything's off he flops down on the bed with a laugh.

"You still dress as though you're twenty years older than you actually are," Erik feels compelled to point out, smirking at Charles and rolling in order to pin Charles to the bed with his hands on his shoulders. "It's devastating and attractive all at once."

"I have reasons for that, its to get respect and I like my suits. Back in New York somewhere there are a few turtlenecks that Raven made me buy though they don't really suit me,"

The rolling and pin is wonderful and Charles sighs before leaning up to try and kiss Erik.

"I like the turtlenecks," Erik says into one of the hungry kisses. "Do you know why, Charles?" Another kiss as he drags his teeth over Charles' jaw, brushing kisses over his neck before beginning to make work on a mark. "Because they permit me to do this."

Works are slightly difficult when Erik does that but he gets out with a groan,

"I'll find one."

Erik begins to make the mark slowly larger, taking his time to truly push and suck and kiss. "Or perhaps you need no turtleneck at all. I wouldn't mind you flaunting such a beautiful mark on such a lovely neck."

"Oh, so everyone knows I'm yours?"

He doesn't mind that thought and he squirms, sharing some of the desire he's feeling with Erik.

"Or so everyone can admire my handiwork," Erik murmurs into Charles' ear, but the truth is more along the lines of what Charles had said. He eases back, looking at the mark and rubbing his thumb over it, smiling with quiet pleasure. "Yes, that will do."

The thumb feels nice and he shifts again, moving his legs around Erik's waist and tugging him down as he also does his best to kiss him.

Erik feels grateful for such kisses, not wishing them to diminish for a single moment. "Should we discuss details?" he wonders quietly. He wants to go further, but has never...not like this.

Charles stills and watches Erik as he nods,

"Yes, I have done a few things but what matters is what's comfortable and what we both want to do. Talk to me, Erik, tell me details and we'll find our way."

Erik gives Charles a dubious look. Talking is a fine idea, but it seems a bit extraneous given what Charles can do. He reaches down and grasps Charles' fingers, placing them at his temple as he always does when reading minds. "I'd rather not talk about it," he says curtly, giving him permission to go looking.

That's unexpected but nice and Charles looks into Erik's mind and shares his own wants.

Intimacy is complicated and he wants to investigate many shades of it with Erik from kisses to whatever form of sex they end up with. He keeps his eyes on Erik's, because he's only going to look for what Erik wishes to show him.

Erik watches him in turn, thinking of the brief kisses he's had in the past, allowing Charles to see how he'd used intimacy to broker his way into earning information, and how he had never truly experienced sex with anyone. He also shares the desire to change that with Charles in him, around him, with him.

Charles leans forward to kiss him, pulling him towards him with the thought of,

We'll try a bit of everything to find what works for us starting with us as close as possible.

Start small, grow from there? Erik suggests with a quick thought, head cushioned by the pillow beneath his head. "I think we can do that."

"I know we can and time's on our side."

Erik's smile is tentative, but also contains a warmth that had previously not truly been shown on his face. "Then let's get started," he murmurs, eager to explore.
