Waking with Iris

He woke in confusion as he relaxed his shields and couldn't figure out all the minds and where they all were in Milliways.

When he felt Iris beside him, he took a breath and watched her sleep as he took stock and found his balance once more.

A remembered conversation:

He considers that memory and kisses her neck again, he loves how soft her skin is right under her hair,

"I hope I may meet her someday."

"She is here, in Milliways. But not from my time. The lady here is...the same, but outwardly is very different."

So very modern.

"You can ask her all sorts of things."

"I will though you'll have to tell me if there are certain topics I should be wary of. You must teach me how to interact with other gods."

At home I might be able to help, but here -- they are all from my future. And wear sunglasses and spikes on their feet.
