Upstairs with Jay (as a teen)

Charles moves quickly getting them upstairs and opening the door to the room he has here.

Inside it looks like his room at home, dark colors, lots of books, a table with a chess sets and he laughs as he closes the door behind them.

Jason grins, loving that blush. "After you, beautiful." He purrs, running his hand over Charles ass again as he gets it.

{ooc: must be the day for it. My folks have just called to say they're coming over. So much for my quiet weekend. Tag you when I can. Have fun!}

Charles keeps blushing as he turns off the taps and steps into the water with a smile and a happy sigh as he sinks in, "There's plenty of space."

After all he's not that tall.

Jason joins him, folding his long legs so they deal around Charles' his feet resting against Charles' hips. "Mmm, I like this tub. Another reason to visit you again if I can." Which he's very much like to.

"You should if Milliways lets you. Maybe depending on where the door is I could even show you some of New York,"

He runs a hand up along Jay's leg.

"Really? You can do that?" Jason grins brightly. "I like the sound of that!"

He purrs and enjoys the touch. "I don't think I can return the favour though. Gotham may be home but it's not a safe place a lot of the time." Hence the scars.

"Yeah, you can take someone through your door but I haven't done it a lot. I once went through someone else's door. Neither is New York City but I understand and we'll have to figure out what might work for New York,"

Charles wants them to be able to figure it out.

"Where did you go?" He asks curiously, wondering what ather world's are available to explore.

"One kind of like yours. I've known another Robin who comes here and he took me through. It was strange and nice to see people so comfortable with people who can do odd things,"

He sinks down more in the bath to intertwine more with Jason, he'd like to live in a world where his telepathy isn't that odd.

Jason freezes up at that. "Another Robin?"

'Yeah, but I've met people who know of me but an older me. Milliways is weird. What's wrong? This Robin was with the Teen Titans you mentioned earlier, I think."

[runningred]

"The golden boy then." Jay mutters with a degree of bitterness. "My predecessor." On the he was pulled off the streets to replace. Something Jay is deeply insecure about.

Charles frowns and rubs Jay's leg, "Oh, well, I like you better."

[runningred]

"Yeah, but I put out." He jokes, trying to make light of it. "Who else did you meet?"

(OOC: We never threaded it all out, but it was with Innerbrat's Teen Titan's Robin.)

"It was a lot of people, I had to pretend to be a hero too,"

He talks of how strange it was to wear a mask to have to be himself.

Jason settles down, stroking Charles' leg as he listens. "The mask can be a powerful thing. You become someone where you put it on. Someone power different. I kinda get why B is the way he is because of the mask."

"But we all already wear masks anyway in how we act, we don't need new ones,"

Everyone is afraid that something about them will be seen as wrong, Charles hates it.

[runningred]

"It's not that. It's more...the things you can do with a mask, or be. Sometimes hiding your face means you can let out bits of you wouldn't dare, or couldn't risk. Like I said before, my mask protects more than just me, it protects the people close to me but it lets me protect the people of the city." There a feeling of see behind his words, something empowering he learnt as Robin that he could find as Jason.

"I guess but that kind of lying and wearing a mask is complicated,"

He knows Raven doesn't like that she has to hide what she looks like and he doesn't know how to help her.

[runningred]

"I guess so." Jason shrugs. "I've been lying about different things for a long time. At least when I put on the mask it's a lie for a good cause."

"They're just bitter to me. Sorry, I'm odd,"

Lies make his telepathy a hindrance as he's had to learn to react to the lies told not the truth he hears.

[runningred]

Jay leans forward, shifting to straddle Charles' thighs. "You're not odd. You're unique." He pulls Charles into a slow, sweet kiss.

Charles leans into the kiss holding Jay tightly, its wonderful to be accepted.

[runningred]

Jay enjoys it too. Being with someone who wants him for himself and doesn't judge him for wanting this is nice. He settles over Charles, reaching for the soap. He runs soaping hands over Charles' chest - just touching and feeling.

Charles sighs happily and relaxes into Jay's touch.

{ooc: fading there might be good. Sorry, this week went nastily sideways at work. This has been wonderful and I'd love to play with them again sometime. Or with adult versions of them out of continuity if that works for you. Thanks again for the thread!}
