Waking with Iris

He woke in confusion as he relaxed his shields and couldn't figure out all the minds and where they all were in Milliways.

When he felt Iris beside him, he took a breath and watched her sleep as he took stock and found his balance once more.

"Quite well."

Iris reaches up one hand from under the blanket to run a finger along Charle's jaw.

"You snore a little."

"I hope it didn't bother you too much. I wouldn't want that,"

He smirks and moves to capture her finger with his mouth.

"You will have to try harder in order to bother me."

Mmf. Warm.

"Do you have requirements on you this morning?"

"Only from you. I'm yours,"

No time is passing and he recently finished a number of jobs at home.

I'm yours starts to echo in Iris' mind a moment or two before she does much. She hasn't yet decided if staring at Charles forever is somehow not feasible.

He doesn't mind the staring though he does kiss her, tracing her body and the feel of her mind.

Charles is full of arches - curves of hip and rib and spine and leg. Easy places for hands to follow, a nudge towards her so that Charles can be above Iris on the bed.

It takes a quick adjustment before he's above her, his hands resting on her hips.

"Are you hungry?"

That is what mortals ask one another in the morning. Right?

"Not just yet. I'll make some tea soon and get breakfast,"

Now though he is wonderfully close to her and doesn't want to move.

Iris is not one to complain about this.

(She may even be dissuading Charles from moving, given how she readjusts her legs to move outward, letting Charles settle towards her. It might be a problem for productivity.)

"Eos is kind to us this morning," she mumbles against Charles' hair.

"Mm, yes,"

It would depend on what is considered productive as making love in the morning is a fine way to start the day. When she moves her legs, he caresses one of her thighs and starts to kiss her body.

The emotions do not seem to change for the angle, or press, or the flush of color to Charles' face above her own.

Iris finds her hands at Charles' shoulderblades when she is kissing him.

Her emotions are wonderful, she makes him feel full of light as he deepens the kiss.

It's a slow pace, movement.

Until it isn't.

Until Iris finds herself edging Charles on to speed and force and their completion.

He loves those moments of change and matches with her, listening to her thoughts to find what makes her gasp with pleasure.

Iris knows no embarrassment. Frustration perhaps, or conflict, but no embarrassment at her own happiness.

Charles can hear her moan of release far longer in her head than he can out loud.

Which he adores though his own mind is mainly open, he's careful. He doesn't want to project again and allows some of his pleasure to blend with hers.

Landing from flight is never as exhilarating as taking off, but Iris enjoys the shudders and small movements as her own body settles.

I hope I never get used to this.

I've yet to, Every time is different and wonderful.

Do not attempt it! Iris smiles beneath him and kisses Charles' nose.

"Shall we?"

"Mm, yes, I'll make some tea,"

Getting up takes a few tries as they've ended up a little tangled and then he picks up a robe he found in one of the drawers.

Iris does not bother with robes, or her discarded clothes, but stands to stretch before heading into the bathroom.

Showers were explained to her last night when they found a room, but Iris wanted to try one this morning.

"Let me know if I can help or join you,"

There's a kettle in the room and he's getting the water going for his tea as he watches her.

You are certainly inviioh! That was hot.

There are learning curves sometimes, though. Iris' laugh echoes in the bathroom.
